Hybrid Tea rose Tahitian Sunset with its radiant apricot hues offers up a view of paradise. It is a particularly gorgeous mix of apricot and yellow-pink that deepens as it opens on sunny days. It has splendid large, high-centered flowers that are five inches in diameter when the 26-40 petals are open. There is a strong anise fragrance. It blooms in flushes repeatedly throughout the season and prefers full sun.

My Tahitian Sunset plant presents a uniform growth with strong stems for cutting. Tahitian Sunset has excellent disease resistance to blackspot. Height is 5 feet with semi-glossy foliage. Zone 5 - 9.

This is an excellent plant for bloom color, form and frequency. It has excellent vigor, rain tolerance, and exhibition qualities. It was an AARS winner in 2006.

Bred by Dr. Keith Zary and introduced in the United States in 2006 (JACgodde).
